Addressing the media on Sunday at his home in  Sironga, Mong’are called on Governor John Nyagarama to sack his ministers and other county officials who have declared an interest in political seats or have started early campaigns.

This comes after county Education minister Janet Komenda said Sunday she will go for the county's woman representative post when Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula toured the area.

Komenda made the remarks at Rangenyo Catholic Church.

“This is not the time for civil servants to start early campaigns instead of serving wananchi. I call upon Nyagarama to sack all those county officials who have started campaigning for their political seats,” the Senator stated.

At the same time, he called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to sack Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri who is reported to have shown interest in politics.
