Uhuru, who spoke during an exclusive interview with a local daily, urged Kalonzo now NASA presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga’s running mate, to walk away from the opposition ahead of the elections date.

The head of state said that he has nothing personal against Kalonzo adding that he looks forward to working with him for the sake of the people of his community, Kambas.

He reminded Kalonzo to join Jubilee in preparation to former the next government with his Deputy William Ruto after he leaves power.

“Personally I don’t have any problem with my brother Kalonzo Musyoka. I know he is a gentleman and that is why am requesting him not to look at the past but where we are going. I urge him to come and join DP Ruto so that they can continue with transforming lives of 40 million Kenyans in 2022 onwards,” said President Kenyatta.

The call comes a few weeks after he urged him to abandon Raila during his tour in Ukambani as the race to State House becomes tougher.
