President Uhuru Kenyatta has pulled a surprise after he offered Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero's the Director of Communication Walter Mong'are alias Nyambane a job.

Uhuru was speaking in Kisii while addressing the youths, urging them to persuade Nyambane to join him and act as his link with the youths.

"I will be sending him from time to time so that you communicate issues affecting the youth, then he can share it with me so that I can serve you better," he said.

However, in quick rejoinder, Nyambane said the mention by the President should not be viewed in the political spectacles, but as commendation by the President that he is a diligent public servant.

"When God opens opportunities, no amount of anger, hatred can stop me. I am being recognised as a public servant by the President and it does not mean it is political," he said.

Nyambane became famous during the Redykyulas comedy show that was a hit in the early 2000 and had a successful career on Kiss 100 FM morning breakfast show.
