President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly reached his main challenger Raila Odinga to take up a state job amid political crisis.

For the first time in as many months, the two protagonists shared platform at All-Saints Cathedral during the celebrations of the century's existence on Sunday.

"They have proposed to appoint him Kenya's Ambassador - In- Chief  with elaborate international affairs," claims a high ranking ODM official who spoke in confidence with the reporter since he is not authorized to hold brief for the Ex Prime Minister.

With a political standoff over the controversial October repeat poll, Odinga insists that he will revert to street protests rather than filing a petition in Supreme Court.

Earlier, Odinga had claimed that Jubilee had approached him with Sh25bn to drop his hard line position over the elections which he terms as 'sham'.

"Somebody came with 3 billion, then 10 billion and eventually 25 billion but I kicked the person out the way Jesus mocked the devil with his temptation," he stated.

Neither Jubilee nor Odinga's NASA has publicly come out on the same allegation amid the ongoing political storm.

Envoys from the western countries have continued to pile pressure on the two leaders to hold a national dialogue to resolve deteriorating political crisis in the country.
