Uhuru received the New Ford Kenya party members led by its chair Kenneth Lusaka saying that Lusaka and his members made the 'right decision'

In a meeting with the members at State House on Wednesday, Uhuru told them that they were officially welcomed to the Jubilee Party and said the members have not been 'stolen' as is alleged by the opposition leaders.

Among those he hosted were former Cabinet ministers Musikari Kombo and Fred Gumo, Water CS Eugene Wamalwa and former Bumula MP Bifwoli Wakoli according to the star.

“We have no interest finishing the opposition. We challenge our colleagues in the opposition to also set up a national party so that we can compete on policies and not on tribal grounds,” said Kenyatta.

He asked New Ford Kenya to familiarise with Jubilee's agenda to keep abreast of the government's activities.

Lusaka said he believes the Luhya community will take the move positively.
