President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked the Maasai community not to 'fall for the opposition's propaganda' on unfulfilled pledges, noting that no other regime has done as much for Maasais.
While speaking during his meeting with Kajiado county leaders at State House, the head of state said opposition leaders have perfected the art of spreading lies yet have nothing to show for the decades they have been in government and in active politics.
"Jubilee has done a lot in Kajiado... No other government has done what Jubilee has for the Maasai," the president said with citation of roads, electricity, technical training institutes and water projects.
Uhuru further hit at Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka, saying that the duo have nothing to show development-wise despite being in government for long.
"Musalia Mudavadi joined the government as a Cabinet minister when I was still in school. He was plucked from school and appointed a minister, and to date he cannot show what he did for Kenyans," he said.
"Kalonzo Musyoka has been in government for long yet he cannot point at any project he ever initiated. Raila Odinga, who had half the government as Prime Minister, did nothing for the people of Kenya," Uhuru pointed out.
