President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again launched another scathing attack on the opposition saying they served for decades in government but have nothing to show for it.
The President who was speaking on Saturday when he hosted a delegation of leaders from Kajiado County at State House, Nairobi challenged the opposition leaders led by ODM party leader Raila Odinga to tell Kenyans the projects they initiated to benefit the country instead of constantly spreading propaganda about the government.
“Musalia Mudavadi joined the government as a Cabinet minister when I was still in school, and to date, he cannot show what he did for Kenyans,” the President was quoted by The Star.
“Kalonzo Musyoka has been in government for long yet he cannot point to any project he ever initiated. Raila Odinga, who had half the government as Prime Minister did nothing for the people of Kenya,’’ Uhuru said.
The President defended his track record in development projects aimed at all Kenyans equally saying the Jubilee administration had done more to the Kajiado people more than any government since independence.
“Jubilee government has done a lot in Kajiado, from technical training institutes, water projects, roads, and electricity connection,” said the President.
Other leaders present during the meeting included Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery, MPs Katoo ole Metito (Kajiado South), Moses Ole Sakuda (Kajiado West), Joseph Manje (Kajiado North) and Peris Tobiko (Kajiado East).
