President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday outlined how the Jubilee party nominations will be conducted in a free and fair manner.
President Uhuru said that party officials at county levels will be swapped during nominations so that officials of one county will be deployed to over see the nomination in another county.
He added that Jubilee party will seek the assistance of the Independent Electoral Commission in conducting the nominations.
" We say we stand for free and fair elections we mean it.County officials will be swapped during nominations to avoid bias," said Uhuru.
The Head of State who was speaking in Maralal added that Jubilee which was formed by dissolving and merging smaller parties does not have a preferred candidate.
" We have no preferred candidates. The people's choice will be our choice," added Uhuru.
