Combative Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga has weighed in on the dicey subject of Uhuru Park as a swearing-in venue for Raila Odinga.

She has said that the decision by the Nairobi County Government was driven by malice to block NASA from accessing Uhuru Park.

''What are they renovating? We can help them with those renovations. This is obviously driven by malice. Uhuru Park is for all of us. What they are doing is backward and unconstitutional. Why are you saying that some people can use Uhuru Park and others cannot,'' she said.

Gladys Wanga spoke today in Homa Bay County where the People's Assembly Forum is being held.

This will be the final People's Assembly before the inauguration of Raila Odinga as the People's President.
