President Uhuru Kenyatta took his campaigns to Tharaka Nithi county on Tuesday, just a day after he launched the Jubilee Party manifesto.

During the visit, the Head of State pleaded with area residents to back his reelection bid during the forthcoming polls, affirming that he means well for the country.

He further defended his track record for the past four and half years, insisting that the Jubilee administration has achieved pledges they made in the run up to the 2013 general elections.

"Jubilee is a caring government and we have proved it through the development we have implemented here and across the country," he said.

President Kenyatta issued over 7,000 title deeds during the visit, affirming his administration's commitment to resolving land matters.

"We said we had a solution to the land problem and promised to deliver thee million titles so Kenyans could have title deeds to effectively use their land and improve their lives," he said.
