Lawyer Nelson Havi says President Uhuru Kenyatta may be certain of Raila Odinga presidency based on his recent actions in public.
At a press conference in Nairobi, Uhuru said he will mobilize his troops in parliament to impeach Raila Odinga should he win presidency.
And on his twitter handle, Havi argues that Uhuru’s remarks are a sign of desperations and an indication that he is losing in October.
“There is nothing presidential in him and I wonder why he is acting unpresidential. He loses his cool and perhaps knows things aren’t good for him.
“He has literally predicted Odinga’s victory by threatening of impeachments which may after all lose meaning due to strict constitutional provisions,” he said.
Later on Monday, NASA leader Raila Odinga dismissed the impeachment threats saying they cannot work due to the lack of super majority.
For a president to be impeached, both houses must have a super majority in line with the constitution. Something which Jubilee lacks.
