President Uhuru Kenyatta insists that Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga and his Wiper Democratic Movement counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka failed Kenyans when they were in power.
Odinga served as Roads Minister during retired President Mwai Kibaki’s era and later on Prime Minister while Kalonzo was a government minister for over two decades before becoming a Vice President.
In his renewed attack on the two leaders, Uhuru urged the opposition leaders to give Jubilee administration easy time to deliver its promises.
“The opposition is claiming that we have taken long to tarmac these roads and yet they did not do so when they were in power for over 30 years,” Uhuru said.
He added: “They should give us humble time to do our job with ease. Kenyans deserves development and that is what we expect them to support. They had an opportunity to serve but failed.”
Uhuru was accompanied by his Deputy William Ruto where they launched construction of Ibokolo-Indangalasia- Malaha road in Mumias.
