Led by Rev Loyce Okenye they said that the duo should hold a meeting to ensure that their differences are solved amicably ahead of the upcoming presidential re-run.
“Kenyans are tired of politics as it has immensely affected the economy and we are convinced that if Raila and Uhuru don’t hold talks Kenya will risk having violence even before and after the presidential the polls,” said Loyce.
Speaking at Nyanchwa on Wednesday evening she urged other religious leaders to ensure that they organise for national prayers day before the elections are held and call upon Raila and Uhuru to attend and end their differences.
Loyce called upon locals to have peace and unity ahead of the repeat polls and ensure that they get out in large numbers during the voting day and chose a leader of their choice.
