The March 9 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga has helped cool down political temperatures in the country down, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has said.
Kihika spoke in Njoro AIC church where she had accompanied other leaders in a delegation of Deputy President William Ruto.
Ruto was leading a fundraising at the church.
The vocal senator lauded the meeting between the top top political leaders saying it is a major step towards healing the nation.
Deputy President also called on leaders to embrace the dialogue between Uhuru and Raila and told off NASA co-principals for crying foul over the same.
NASA co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi dismissed the talks as a ‘two-man’ affair.
