Speaking in Kisumu on Friday, Nyando MP Jared Okello said it was unfair for the two leaders to remain silent on what they agreed especially at a time when Kenya needs healing more than ever before.

"We want both sides to make public the agenda and details of the meeting," Okello said.

"If they cannot speak themselves, then let them use their allies to tell the country what they agreed on," he added.

Uhuru and Raila met on Friday for the first time after the hotly contested August 8 election and the October 26 repeat poll which Odinga boycotted.

The former Premier has been calling for dialogue between the Jubilee administration and the opposition,  but the President and his lieutenants have been adamant to convene the conclave saying there is nothing for the two sides to discuss.

Among issues Raila wants addressed include electoral reforms as well as ways to rejuvenate the economy which he says is performing below average.
