A Wiper Member of Parliament is crying foul over Friday’s meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga.
Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna dismissed the ‘reunion’ and accused Raila of being a ‘selfish politician’.
"Raila's meeting with Uhuru on Friday was a selfish political game whose main agenda is to finish Kalonzo politically," Nguna said.
The MP said Raila knows Kalonzo will be a threat to him in the 2022 presidential race hence decided to plot for his downfall.
Kalonzo has been Raila’s running mate in the 2013 and 2017 presidential elections.
The MP, who was speaking at Nguutani secondary school on Saturday, regretted that so many people had sacrificed their all for Raila’s cause.
"We supported Raila with all we had," he said.
