Nairobi Woman Representative Rachel Shebesh has revealed that political rivals – Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta – talk via phone every day.

Mr Odinga and Mr Kenyatta will face off in the August 8 general election.

Speaking during an interview on NTV, the Jubilee leader, who will be defending her seat, said it was pointless for Kenyans to fight each other while the two politicians are great friends behind the scenes.

“Uhuru and Raila call each other on phone everyday while you (Kenyans) fight. I know both of them,” Shebesh said on June 19.

The Woman rep will face ODM’s Esther Passaris come August 8.
