President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to share podium with his fierce rival, Raila Odinga, weeks after a divisive election.

The two protagonists are expected to meet on Tuesday in Kitui for the burial of Francis Nyenze, the immediate Kitui West MP who a couple of days ago.

With Uhuru, having taken oath for his second term, a defiant Odinga has termed his reelection 'illegitimate' and has even threatened to also take a similar oath of office.

So divided that the two are, forcing the United States to push for dialogue and reconciliation, which is however yet to take place.

Moments after the October repeat polls, which Odinga had boycotted over lack of reforms in IEBC, the two met at All Saints Cathedral, in celebrations of Anglican Church's centurion existence.

Archbishop Justin Welby of Canterbury was the key unification figure behind the two political heavyweights.

And at Kitui, NASA leadership along with Jubilee have confirmed attendance, with fierce political  expected to resurface.

Despite being in NASA, Nyenze fought claims of being a mole in the opposition coalition and is on record for urging his constituents to vote for Uhuru.
