President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are expected to share a platform on Saturday during the burial of Funyula MP Paul Otuoma‘s son, Malcon, who died last week while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

Malcon, a first-year student at JKUAT, had been admitted to the facility after developing breathing complications.

On Saturday, the Daily Nation reported that Statehouse spokesperson Manoah Esipisu had confirmed Uhuru will attend the burial in Busia County.

Raila, Otuoma’s party leader, is also expected at the burial.

Western Region Coordinator Mwogo Chimwaga said they are expected the Head of State and were waiting for confirmation of his schedule.
