The group, which comprises of youth from Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Tana River, Lamu and Taita Taveta, has embarked on a mission aimed at ensuring Jubilee garners more votes in the region than it did during the 2013 general election.
The formation of the group, which seeks NASA’s influence at the Coast, comes at a time when both factions have intensified campaigns in the region.
The team, under the leadership of Jeff Bwana on Tuesday hailed Uhuru’s performance record in the last four years.
As the President’s foot soldiers, the group has vowed to deliver Coast votes to the Jubilee party.
“It is a team of progressive thinking youth working as President Uhuru’s campaign foot soldiers and is designed to uncover the potential of youth as unbound and new drivers of an ethnicity free society,” said Bwana, as quoted by Baraka FM.
Bwana further called upon youth to preach peace during their campaigns.
