President Uhuru Kenyatta’s quest to win the Kamba vote has received a major boost after Former Kitui Senator David Musila unveiled mega plan to rally the electorate behind Jubilee.

Speaking when he met 2000 leaders from Mwingi, Musila, who unsuccessfully contested for the area’s governorship, said that is ready and determined to mobilize other leaders from Ukambani to pitch tents across the region before that time comes.

The outspoken politician has said that Kitui is no longer an opposition stronghold, adding that he will deliver more votes than other leaders did during the last general elections. Musila also has promised his former ally-turned-political-nemesis Kalonzo Musyoka and Former Prime Minister, Raila Amolo Odinga a bruising battle as they seek to dethrone Jubilee from power. He was speaking at Migwani trading center where he asked residents to back Jubilee.

The lawmaker also asked the residents and leaders to shun politics of hooliganism and fake promises as we head to the repeat polls."Let us shun politics of empty rhetoric and hooliganism," he said, as quoted by The Star.
