President Uhuru Kenyatta has today received a copy of 2017 KCPE results from the Ministry of Education.
The results were handed over to the president by Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i and Knec chairman Prof George Magoha.
The president confirmed receiving the results on Twitter.

"Received K.C.P.E. 2017 results from Education Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang'i at Harambee House, Nairobi," he posted.

A total of 1,003,556 candidates sat for this year’s KCPE across 28,566 examination centers.
Dr. Matiang'i is expected to release the exam results at KICD in Nairobi from 11 am after marking was fast-tracked by optical machines.
