A group of Women leaders dubbed "Jubilee women brigade" has vowed to lobby women across the country to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta. 

They said they will ensure the incumbent gets over 95 percent women votes across the country."We have started  moving door to door urging women to not only participate in the forth coming elections but also vote for Kenyatta," said Uasin Gishu County Senator Margaret Kamar in Eldoret town during the Jubilee women brigade meeting, Thursday."This time round we want to show the opposition that our candidate dry won the August 8th elections," added  Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso.They, however, said those who will be unable to travel to polling stations will be ferried. "We want to urge women from all divide to come out in large numbers and vote since it is their democratic right.This time around it is not business as usualWe will go an extent of denying our husband their conjugal rights for us to vote," added the former Nairobi women representative Rachel Shebesh.Turbo Member of Parliament  Janet Sitienei urged Kenyans to maintain peace during and after elections sinceKenya is bigger than an individual."Let's maintain peace since in case of violence it is we women and children who are badly affected," she said.
