President Uhuru Kenyatta has dismissed opposition chief Raila Odinga's sensational claims that his win during the nullified August 8 elections was computer generated.

Raila had claimed Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission's (IEBC) servers were hacked and a formula used to generate Uhuru's 54 percent win same as several other Jubilee candidates win across the country.

But responding to the claims, President Kenyatta insisted that he won freely and fairly as the results announced by the IEBC were a reflection of people's will.

Addressing supporters in Eldoret town on Thursday, Kenyatta said a fresh election scheduled for October 17 will reaffirm his win.

"Kura haikua ya vifaranga vya Kompyuta. Ilikua ya wananchi na tutamwonesha" noted the President loosely translated us, "those votes were not compute generated."

"The people overwhelmingly voted for me and Jubilee and we will show him that the votes are with the people not the courts. We know guided by Almighty God wembe ni ule ule," he added.

IEBC declared Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner of the August 8 elections after he garnered 8,203,290 representing 54.27 per cent of the votes cast with the ODM and Nasa candidate Raila Odinga finishing second with 6,762,224 votes, representing 44.74 per cent of the votes cast.

However, the Supreme Court nullified the results on the basis that IEBC committed “irregularities and illegalities” during last month’s presidential vote.
