President Uhuru Kenyatta has criticized opposition for constantly opposing his development projects since he assumed the Presidency in 2013.

Speaking to various Kikuyu radio stations at State House, Nairobi, Uhuru singled out NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga as a propagandist out to confuse the public.

According to the President, Raila has been working daily to paint Jubilee as a congregation of corrupt individuals.

“My five-year-term has been tough. They spread propaganda the SGR project was so costly and even moved to court to block the laptop project. President Kibaki's last five-year tenure was wasted just like that because of these individuals. They claim we have been borrowing a lot, but they forget we have been doing so to roll out crucial projects that can be seen by everyone. These projects have created jobs for our youths and propelled the economy of this nation,” the President said at Kameme FM.

Uhuru urged his supporters to turn out in large numbers and reelect him. He also warned the youths against selling their votes.

“There is time for jokes. Time has come for us to come out in large numbers and vote. If you sell your vote, you will be selling your future. My people, voting for Uhuru will not just be in vain, but for peace and prosperity of this nation,” Uhuru said at Gukena FM and Inooro FM.
