[Photo|PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta has raised the status of Acting Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i.During his tour of Kisii County flanked by his Deputy William Ruto, Kenyatta named Matiang'i as number three in his government after Ruto.In what seemed to be wooing the Kisii votes, after his attacks on Supreme Court President Chief Justice David Maraga, after nullifying his reelection, Uhuru said he had given many people from Kisii, government jobs.Maraga hails from the county.He cited the Education and Interior dockets, saying they are powerful dockets being led by CS Matiang'i, who hails from the county.However, ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale poked holes in the Uhuru's remarks on Twitter, saying: "Listening to Pres. Uhuru in Kisii, he tells Kisii's that @FredMatiangi is number 3 after him and DP Ruto. I thought Lusaka was. Waluhya hehe."
