President Uhuru Kenyatta has revoked the appointment of former National Intelligence Service (NIS) boss Michael Gichangi as chairperson of the Private Security Regulatory Authority.
Uhuru has appointed Amos Ntimama, the son of the late veteran politician William Ntimama, to head the Authority for a period of 3 years.
In a gazette notice dated November 26, 2016, Uhuru said Ntimama's appointment took effect on November 25, 2016.
Gichangi was appointed on October 2 after resigning from NIS.
