President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday travelled to Mombasa with former Ghanaian president John Mahama aboard the Madaraka Express.

The president travelled to the coastal city to open the governors’ induction seminar.

The President and his guest travelled by car to the Syokimau Railway Station in a lean fleet of vehicles and very few at the station knew the high-profile travellers of the train that was to leave at 3 pm.

This was the second time the President was travelling with the train after its inaugural ride on May 31.
