46.4 per cent of respondents in the research said that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s office was corrupt while a larger 51 per cent believed that there was corruption at Deputy President William Ruto’s office.

The police service emerged the overall corrupt institution in the country.

"Kenyans feel that corruption is practiced sometimes or always in the police service, with 74 per cent indicating that it is practiced always," AfriCog said.

However, the news was not well received with a number of Kenyans alleging corruption and partisanship on Africog itself.

"Africog is the same NGO that took UhuruRuto to court. No one can agree with them except Cord people. The time for making money by these NGOs has arrived. This report was submitted to the financiers with a bill worth billions," said Gwasi Plains via the Star.

Another Kenyan through the same publication said:

"Is this AFRICOG? They are resurrecting for next years' presidential petition. Given their name, I would suggest that they urgently open offices in the both Sudans, Uganda, Somalia, DRC, Zimbabwe, Libya, and such kind of places since their impact will be most felt in such countries."
