Jubilee Party leaders have responded to the withdrawal of Raila Odinga from the presidential race.
While addressing the press of Tuesday evening, the National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader said he will not take part in a 'pre-rigged process'.
Raila said that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) had not met their irreducible minimums, hence the withdrawal.
In a response to the former prime minister's move, Deputy President William Ruto has said Jubilee is ready for the repeat poll, scheduled for October 26.
"Sisi tuko tayari kwa uchaguzi Oktoba 26, wapinzani wetu wawepo au wasiwepo (We are ready for elections to be held on October 26, whether our competitors are in or out of the race," the DP said at a Jubilee rally in Taita Taveta.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on his part said that Raila has exercised his democratic right by withdrawing from the presidential race.
The Jubilee leader said the election will go on as scheduled.
