Tourism Principal Secretary Fatuma Mohammed has had her contract terminated as president Uhuru Kenyatta continues to stamp authority on his government.
A secret letter from Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua, instructs the PS who took office in 2015, to clear with the government by end month.
"In this regard, your employment contract has been terminated forthwith. Consequently, you will be paid salaries up to 30th June 2018.
"This will be your last working day. You are in meantime requested to hand-over your office to Principal Secretary Wildlife," read the confidential letter.
Further, the letter does not however explain the reason for termination of the contract but partly explains that she is not part of Uhuru's long term project.
This happens amid ongoing crack on corrupt government officers with PS Lilian Omollo still under police custody over corruption.
