[Photo: PSCU]Budalangi Member of Parliament (MP) Ababu Namwamba was on the receiving end, after he accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta in his tour of Busia county. They had made various stopovers alongside Uhuru's deputy William Ruto, before stopping at Bumala, Wednesday, to address locals. They however did not allow Ababu to address them, when he was invited by Uhuru.Residents booed him, heckled and chanted Opposition's Nasa, slogans, saying Ababu who left ODM for Jubilee, betrayed them.Busia is perceived to be a Nasa stronghold, given that governor Sospeter Ojaamong' is in Opposition, and electorates voted overwhelmingly for ODM (Cord) in the 2013 general election."Let me give him an opportunity to greet you," Uhuru told supporters who declined, and booed them."Alright, alright, it's okay. That is your right," he added, as the crowd continued heckling. However, the president's brigade was warmly welcomed in the Western Kenya county. They made stopovers in Nambale, Funyula, Budalangi among other areas.
