The Jubilee Party Leader urged supporters to concentrate on multiplying numbers when month-long mass registration begins on Monday.

Speaking during an event at Kasarani Stadium where he launched the membership smart card, Uhuru noted the voter turnout could determine the outcome of the August polls.

He said the smart card device will be used to register and track part members.

"We must make sure as we register our party members to participate in primaries, they are also registered voters who will vote in the coming elections," he said.

He also told JP members from many merged parties to stop squabbling and infighting because that could bring down the united outfit.

"If you fight internally until we all fail, what will be the benefit to you?" Uhuru asked.

Uhuru added that the teams that would achieve the highest number of registered voters from the county to the ward levels would be awarded. The party intends to marshal 4.9 million new voters in a drive to be spearheaded by the President and his deputy.
