President Uhuru Kenyatta has threatened to take action against provincial administration chiefs who are working with the National Super Alliance (Nasa). He said his Jubilee administration had promoted them, but some have been working closely with the Opposition, to frustrate his government.

According to him, they have been enjoying allowances, and riding on motorcycles, courtesy of his administration.

“You think it is the Opposition who is your employer. You have to understand that the motorcycles you are using were provided by Jubilee government. Appreciate that the allowances you are drawing and the motorcycles are properties of Jubilee,” Uhuru said during his Jubilee campaign tuor of Makueni County, Wednesday. He warned that he knew what the chiefs were doing behind the Jubilee government, and that they would be dealt with, accordingly in case he gets a second term in office..

"We know what you are doing. We will deal with you after the elections," he added, flanked by his deputy William Ruto and area Jubilee candidates.

His threats, come after Nasa leaders promised to promote chiefs, if elected.
