President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned NASA presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, over threats to boycott the upcoming polls.
According to Uhuru, Rail has no powers to stop the repeat presidential polls set for October 26.
He was speaking during a campaign rally in Busia where he said that Raila's demands were imaginary and nonsensical.
Raila has maintained that elections will not happen without any reforms.
To block election, NASA plans to use a section of the Constitution saying the IEBC must hold elections in all 290 constituencies.
The President said the state will act firmly against any attempts to prevent Kenyans from voting.
"There is no way the government will allow anyone to block any voter from exercising their right to choose the leader of their choice," Uhuru said.
"The election is about and belongs to the Kenyan people and not the candidates," he said.
NASA has maintained that IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba must vacate office before the repeat polls are held.
He also wants Jubilee to back down from the election reforms laws.
