President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to take his campaigns to Kisumu, a stronghold of NASA’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
The visit comes just a week after Raila visited Kiambu county, Uhuru’s stronghold.
During the tour, Uhuru is expected to receive ODM defectors in Kisumu to Jubilee Party.
He is also expected to tour Homa Bay, Migori and Siaya counties later in the week.
Kisumu County JP chairman Zuberi Liete said all is set for the visit of the President.
“We are very pleased he has heeded to our calls to visit the region to launch projects and ask for votes for his reelection bid,” Liete said.
He assured Uhuru of arousing welcome from residents.
