President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to be endorsed by six political parties.

The endorsement comes at a time when the Jubilee party is set to endorse President Uhuru and William Ruto's re-election.

Uhuru is expected to receive the Jubilee certificate as the nominated presidential candidate during a National Delegates Convention (NDC) to be held at Bomas of Kenya on Saturday.

Independence party Kanu, Narc Kenya, Economic Freedom Party, Maendeleo Chap Chap, The Kenya Patriotic Party are set to endorse Uhuru.

Uhuru is set to face NASA's Raila Odinga in the August 8 polls.

On Friday ODM endorsed Raila Odinga as its presidential flagbearer.
