The National Super Alliance, if remains intact would give president Uhuru Kenyatta sleepless nights, says Prof. Nyachieo Bogonko.
Although it is yet to endorse a single candidate, the opposition coalition principals are set to sign an agreement that will set basic working relationship principles.
And Bogonko, a political scientist says the ongoing strikes and inability of Jubilee administration to convincingly deal with corruption and tribalism would severely work against the president.
“I am seeing a revolution cooking somewhere. This will not be a walkover especially when the government is facing such crisis,’ he told the reporter.
“The president seems to be taking the matter lightly but it will work in advantage of opposition. Strikes everywhere, corruption and what have you,” he added.
For over two months now, government hospitals across the country have remained closed due to doctors’ strike and the similar situation has been replicated in the education sector.
And now, ODM Chairman John Mbadi has hinted that the opposition will chose a candidate in three weeks’ time, after which Kenyans will experience intensive political campaigns.
