President Uhuru Kenyatta has for the first time admitted that a number of politicians from both opposition and government are unhappy with his decision to work with Raila Odinga.
The two leaders agreed to drop their differences and work for the benefit of all Kenyans in March.
At Murang'a on Thursday, Uhuru however insisted that he will not retreat adding that they are free to join him when they reconcile with their consciousness.
"I know some people are unhappy with our decision to work together. Some are from my side and some from Raila's team.
"We know them. They like thriving in commotions. But I want to tell them to join us when they see the importance of this unity. Kenya must live to her expectations," said Uhuru.
While it's not clear who he targeted, DP William Ruto is said to be opposing the deal secretly despite his earlier stand.
One of the issues reportedly in the deal that Ruto is uncomfortable with is changing of the constitution to pave way for parliamentary system of government.
