The sentiments by the president came in after Kenyan especially the lover of ugali as it is popularly known in Kenya complained of the increased price of maize flour to an all-time high of Sh150 per 2kg bag.
Uhuru, however, told Kenyans to bear with his administration since the initiatives they have started are long-term investments and the returns may take a while to mature.
"We know that Kenyans have not yet felt the full impact of our investments, but we ask them to give us an opportunity to continue with what we are doing so that in time they will feel the full impact," he said.
"We are investing in order for Kenyans to reap," he added.
On Monday, the Head of State is set to launch a public information portal where Kenyans can see and verify the developments Jubilee administration has put together over the four years in power.
