President Uhuru Kenyatta has laughed off claims that the Meru region is now a National Super Alliance zone.

Speaking on Saturday during his second-day tour of the region, Uhuru said that the region was solely behind the ruling coalition.

“Don’t be lied by NASA, they don’t have an agenda for Kenyans. Raila coming here and chewing Miraa is not a solution for farmers. Solution to Miraa farmers is to devise policies that will enable a ready market for their produce which Jubilee is going to initiate. Vote for me so that we can continue to transforming our country,” said Uhuru.

In his re-election plea, Uhuru said that his regime had massively invested in the region for the benefit of locals.
