President Uhuru Kenyatta has dared lawmakers affiliated with NASA to skip his address on Tuesday.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to address both National Assembly and Senate jointly on Tuesday afternoon.

Speaking on Monday, Uhuru said that Jubilee has enough members in both houses to conduct business even without opposition members.

Uhuru’s sentiments comes after NASA MPs threatened to boycott the address.

According to the lawmakers, President Uhuru Kenyatta is still in the acting capacity after the Supreme Court nullified his re-election from the August 8 presidential elections.

The Supreme Court ordered fresh polls to be conducted within 60 days.

IEBC has already set October 17 as the new election date.
