President Uhuru Kenyatta has said that he is hoping the relationship between Kenya and America will continue to grow even after aftr Donald Trump was officially inaugurated into office.
Donald Trump who is the United States 45th president was sworn in on Friday and has previous being sending signals on African leaders over dictatorship and corruption.
“We are waiting to see what policy direction the new administration will take towards Africa. But I hope that whatever it is it would be a continuation of trying to consolidate the good partnership that we have in terms of security and development", Uhuru said
Uhuru added that his hopes the continuation of further partnerships in terms of security and development between the United States and African countries.
Speaking at Sagana State Lodge on Sunday President Uhuru Kenyatta added that he is confident what the two countries have build in the past years will be strengthened during the Trump regime
