A Jubilee party caravan was on Wednesday reportedly stoned by NASA supporters in Ogembo town, in Kisii County.
A fracas ensued after Jubilee youth, led by Kitutu Chache South MP aspirant Anthony Kibagendi, arrived in the town perceived to be a NASA zone. T
he Opposition supporters confronted the Jubilee team and demanded they leave immediately.
Kibagendi, however, called on the youth to shun leaders using them to gain political mileage and instead support those pushing the transformation agenda.
"We are not going to be cowed by goons paid to disrupt our peaceful campaigns," Kibagendi said.
He added: "We are not going to take any chances in the remaining few days. We are going to move across the county to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto are reelected. No one should stop us."
Jubilee County Interim Chairman Sammy Nyairo condemned the incident stating that politicians were free to campaign where they pleased.
