President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally been sworn in.

This is after a long election season that has dragged on for over three months.

The president thrilled Jubilee Party supporters with his arrival at Kasarani stadium on Tuesday with the crowds going to a frenzy upon Chief Justice David Maraga referring to him as President.

In a similar gesture, Maraga recognised Deputy President William Ruto before he handed over to judiciary chief registrar Anne Amadi to lead them in taking their oaths.
