Uhuru has told NASA supports they can opt not to participate in the October 26 repeat presidential elections.
Speaking in Kitui during a Jubilee rally, the president said it is constitutionally right for NASA supporters not to vote during the polls so long as they do not interrupt those who will vote.
“It is not a must for them to vote. We have so many Kenyans who do not have IDs but that has not stopped an election from happening,” said Uhuru.
He added that those who are planning to block voters from participating in their democratic right will not be entertained.
The president said that Jubilee is more than ready to take part in the repeat elections top prove that they fairly won the annulled 8 August presidential election.
