[edaily.co.ke]President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to be announced the winner of August 8 presidential poll on Friday.Preparations are underway to receive Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto at the Bomas of Kenya which the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has been using as its national tallying centre.Presidential security guards are already at Bomas to secure the area ahead of the President's arrival.Several Jubilee MPs, Senators and Cabinet Secretaries can also be seen arriving in celebratory moods ahead of the big announcement.IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati had indicated on Thursday that Kenyans will be able to know who their next President for the next five years will be by 12 noon on Friday.Nasa co-principal Musalia Mudavadi had on Thursday demanded that IEBC announce the coalition's flag bearer, Raila Odinga the fifth President of Kenya immediately saying that he had won the poll by over 8 million votes.However, provisional results streaming on local TV stations indicate Uhuru has won the election by 54.26% with Raila trailing at 44.85%.
