President Uhuru Kenyatta has said he will not hold a dialogue with the CORD leaders to discuss the disbandment IEBC.
In a meeting with stakeholders at State House yesterday, President Kenyatta said that the Constitution does not allow him to effect the removal of IEBC commissioners adding that CORD should use the right legal channel for their removal.
He stated that Jubilee MPs are ready to engage their CORD counterparts on the issues of electoral reforms adding that such talks should be held within the Constitution.
He called on political leaders to maintain peace ahead of the next election since any violence will lead to poor growth and stability of the country's economy.
