An elected MP in Nyamira County has claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta will dump his Deputy in 2022.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi said the Head of State has misused DP Ruto since 2013 and it is time Ruto should forget Uhuru’s support in 2022 when he will be vying for presidency.
“Uhuru will never support Ruto for presidency because even Kibaki didn’t support Raila after Raila helped Kibaki clinch presidency in 2022. It is time Ruto should be told the truth and that is what I am doing,” he said.
The MP regretted Ruto’s decision to dump Raila in 2013 the time Raila needed him most.
The Wiper Party MP said the Kikuyu community will also not rally behind Ruto in 2022.
“Ruto mislead his Kalenjin community in 2013 to vote for Uhuru. The same community will regret their 2013 and 2017 decision voting for Uhuru because the Kikuyu community will not waste time supporting their son (Ruto),” he noted.
He said the Gusii community leaders should warm up for top seats in 2022 and stop accepting small seats in government so as to mislead the community members to vote a wrong person.
