An agitated President Uhuru Kenyatta fired back at embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna as the controversy surrounding his nationality took a new dimension.
Earlier, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko had claimed that his decision to pick Miguna as his deputy as precipitated by Uhuru's handlers who have been questioning his leadership.
"Your Excellency, do not be scared by nomination of Miguna Miguna. I did that because of your people who are intimidating me," said Sonko.
While Sonko suggests that the nomination was arrived out of emotions, Miguna Miguna has however since declined the move.
But while addressing a gathering at Jacaranda on Wednesday, a furious Uhuru maintained that he cannot be scared of anybody as long as he is guided by the constitution.
"Sonko has said that I should not be scared of Miguna. I want to tell him that nobody can scare me as long as I am guided by the law," he said in reference to Miguna's predicaments.
Last week, sources intimated that Miguna Miguna has since been blocked permanently from entering the country with all airlines operating to Nairobi warned against accommodating him.
In his series of tweets, Miguna has always accused Uhuru of dictatorship following his forceful deportation from the country.
The president further said he will continue respecting people but not when they 'cross his line'.
